Boyds Bears and Porcelain Dolls from the Boyds Collection Limited

Boyds Collection Limited has grown alot in the last 28 years but still trys very hard to provide the craftsmanship and loveability that attracts collectors today.

Boyds Bears appreciates you, their Collectors and Friends and have...from the very beginning of the hand-painted items in their Maryland shop...through the introduction of a merino wood bear in 1984...to the Bearstone Collection...to the wide range of products they continue to create.

Porcelain Dolls were introduced in 1999 to compliment the bears and porcelain figurines. Throughout the life of the doll line each year different dolls would be nominated for the prestigious Doll of the Year Award. Several of the dolls through the years won. Wanting only the best quality for their porcelain doll line the Company hired the best, Julie Good-Kruger to design their porcelian dolls. My Best Friend doll collection celebrates the importance of friendship. Yesterdays Child returns us to days gone bye full of sweet memories. The 14" toddlers in the Little Girls collection wear whimsical outfits, floppy plush toys, and chubby cheeks you just to pinch. Snuggle-Bs are the soft 15" cloth dolls with yarn hair, big soft shoes and mismatched garmets.

Each porcelain doll features custom-designed clothing and accessories, a hand fashioned wig, intricately crafted, cold-cast resin hands and feet, a hand-painted porcelain face, and a miniature best friend. They hand-number and back-stamp each doll and present her in a gift box with a certificate of authenticity---a beautiful family heirloom to pass from one generation to the next! Unfortunately, in 2005, Boyds ended their line of porcelian dolls. While once we had an extensive inventory of the Porcelain Dolls we are now left with only about a dozen on hand.
